Pavillon Enfant-Soleil (Centre mère-enfant)

The project is under way…

Perinatal, physical, and mental health care services offered to clients ages 0-18 will be offered under one roof in this new pavilion adjacent to the CHUS – Hôpital Fleurimont.

This Centre will enhance the hospital environment’s quality and a treatment approach centred on the patient and her/his family.

Pregnancy-Related Clinics

Subspecialized obstetric clinic and obstetrical ultrasound unit

The Subspecialidez obstetric clinic and obstetrical ultrasound unit is in Room 2530 on the 2nd floor, close to the main entrance of the CHUS – Fleurimont Hospital.

Follow-Up for High-Risk Pregnancies
The clinic provides follow-up for women with pregnancies presenting high risk for themselves or their babies. Patients must be referred by their physicians.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can reach the clinic's receptionist at 819 346 1110, extension 14726.

Walk-In Laboratory-Test Clinic
Pregnant women can come to this clinic for urine collection and blood draws, screening tests (including for trisomy 21), gestational-diabetes management, and administration of the WinRho vaccine, if appropriate.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  

Reproductive Endocrinology and Fertility Clinic

The Reproductive Endocrinology Clinic is an outpatient clinic at the Letter E on the 2nd floor at the CHUS – Fleurimont Hospital.

The clinic offers services to men and women with issues related to infertility and reproductive endocrinopathy.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can reach the clinic at 819-346-1110, extension 16616.

  

General Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic

The General Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic is located in Suite 212 of the Clinique 24-Juin on 12th Avenue North in Sherbrooke.

The clinic manages patients with gynecological issues as well as pregnant women (both normal and abnormal pregnancies).

Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can reach the clinic's receptionist at 819-563-2027.

  

Endocrinology of pregnancy clinic (endocrinology)

The Endocrinology of pregnancy clinic is in Room 2533 on the 2nd floor at the CHUS - Hôtel-Dieu and an outpatient clinic at the Letter G on the 2nd floor at the CHUS - Fleurimont Hospital.

The clinic offers teaching, evaluation, and follow-up of female patients with endocrine disorders (diabetes and other during pregnancy). Patients must be referred by their physicians.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can reach the clinic at 819-346-1110, extension 28079.

 

Baby-Friendly Initiative
      MOREOB
Réseau mère-enfant de la Francophonie

The CHUS is pursuing its efforts to obtain certification for the Baby-Friendly Initiative(BFI), established jointly by the WHO and UNICEF in 1991. This process will lead to the implementation of a global strategy of practices to create an environment conducive to breast feeding.

The CHUS joined the Managing Obstetrical Risk Efficiently(MOREOB) program in 2009. This program, developed in 2001 and 2002 by the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC), focuses on patient safety, professional development, and performance improvement programs for caregivers and administrators in hospital obstetrics units.        

The CHUS is part of the Réseau mère-enfant de la Francophoniethat supports the development of best practices for healthcare and management within its membership.
